Company Overview:
We are growing and looking to add a skilled and experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to our team and take a lead role on installations. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to step into a leadership role.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities, including managing small crews and coordinating with other trades and project managers. Candidates should have some prior leadership or supervisory experience and be committed to safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Lead a small team of apprentices or junior fitters
- Ensure work is completed according to specifications, safety codes, and quality standards
- Coordinate with project supervisors and other trade professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a pipefitter
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (foreman, lead, or similar) preferred
- Must possess and maintain a clean driving record (absolutely no DUIs)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
