Position Overview
As a Tool and Die Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for new and existing projects. Your expertise will help drive business success by aligning project scopes, customer requirements, and cost-effective tooling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RFQs, blueprints, CAD files, and specifications to prepare cost estimates
- Determine materials, labor, and machining time required for tool and die manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure estimates are feasible and accurate
- Interface with vendors and suppliers to gather material and service pricing
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations to clients
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software
- Provide input for process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
