Taldeco is searching for Tool and Die Technicians to join our team in Detroit, MI!
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available.
Pay depending on experience. Training available!
Requirements:
- Tool and Die experience working with stamping dies and presses
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong background in repairs and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and technical specs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and high-quality parts.
- Able to work in a noisy, industrial environment with metal, oil, and press equipment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various machinery and equipment including lathes, mills, and EDM machines.
- Install and align tools, dies, and fixtures based on job specifications.
- Use blueprints, part drawings, and work orders.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection toolsto verify part dimensions meet specs.
- Work with engineers and toolmakers to improve processes.
